Some of you might know pork cheeks are my absolute favorite piece of meat. For those who don’t know! Don’t worry. They know as much as you! There’s a new favorite in town! “Pluma Ibérico”. Have you ever heard of it? I had been searching […]
We all got our favorite cuts of meat. If you ask me I’ll always go for the cheeks! Thinking about pork and beef cheeks. They are perfect for slow cooking projects. I had never thought about searching for venison cheeks before. Until Carmans delivered me […]
The Mole Poblano BBQ sauce finds it origin in the traditional Mexican national dish. Translated Mole Poblano means: “Sauce from Puebla”. Puebla is a mountain city in Mexico which is considered as the home region of the special sauce. What’s typical for the Mole Poblano? What’s not… The sauce brings together some odd flavors yet leading to a superb sauce with body. Think of hot peppers, cinamon, nuts and bitter chocolate! I guess I get your attention now!

YES!!! Finally it’s there: football heaven. After enjoying Payet and the festivities around this great tournament I’m most of all looking forward to see our “Red devils” play their game. At first I was thinking this would harm my BBQ passion until I realised they […]
While restyling my index page some time ago I noticed this blog has no beef recipes. Why? I actually never thought about it. I guess there’s not much to say about grilling a steak. It’s best when presented pure with salt and pepper. So we’re left with the sides to come up with something original (as far as beef needs sides…). This spicy fresh cheese marinated cauliflower combines well with beef but would also do fine with pork or fish.
Adie Platts lead me to John Hargate as his successor in the trail of passion. I have to admit that I had never heard of the man before. I’m not in competition BBQ scene and he left before I started following from a distance. Yet […]
