Traeger baked Chicken Nuggets – #kidsfavorite
So it’s time to get those kids back to school! To support them on their quest for knowledge I made these delicious Traeger Baked Chicken Nuggets. They are easy to prepare and they simply loved them! So did I by the way! Spiced with the Traeger Prime Rib Rub and with a lovely Panko crust. If you want them smoked, lower the heat after baking them and use the supersmoke option! I didn’t do it in this session since we wanted to eat fast to get the kids in bed on time! Best nuggets ever if you ask my youngest boy hoping to get some more. The oldest just asked for it! Both strategies work on a proud dad haha! Those Traeger Baked Chicken Nuggets will be on the menu on a regular base here! Hope you like them as much as we did! Cheers.

- 4 skinless chicken thighs
- 4 egg yolks
- Traeger Prime Rib rub at taste or your own favorite rub
- Salt and pepper at taste
- 200 gr. panko
Prepare your BBQ for an indirect session at medium heat(+-180°C)
Devide the egg yolks from their whites and whisk them in a tray.
Put the panko in another tray.
Spice the chicken thighs with your favorite rub at taste. Here I used the Traeger Prime Rib Rub.
Roll the thighs through the egg yolks and panko. Repeat this step a second time.
Put the Nuggets on the BBQ and bake them until you reach a core temperature from 74°C and a crispy crust (about a half hour).
