On a cold winter night you need to warm yourself! This delicious hot cocktail will do the trick in several ways! Try the glu gin and you'll find out what love on first taste feels like! Time to make a couple of liters now! Those bottles go way to fast! So drink with care :)

Ingredients
500mlGinbest result for now with beefeater gin
500mlGluhweinbest result for now with Christkindles markt Gluhwein
300mlwater
200gr. sugar
1thumbsliced ginger
2bay leaves
2cloves
2mandarins with peel
2star anise
1cinnamon stick
2tspsukadedried candied citron peel
2tsporange zest
2tspdried elderflower optional (but delicious)
Instructions
Take a pan and add the sugar and all flavorizers. Wait a couple of minutes for the sugar to extract the flavors and slightly start to heat.If you can't find some of the spices you might use this mulling spices mix too or just go creative and try out your own profile!
Once the sugar is melting pour the water in the pan and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
Filter the spices out of the syrup and let cool down.
Mix the gin, gluhwein and homemade syrup.
Gently heat the glu gin but make sure it doesn't boil.
Serve hot with a twig of charred rosemary for a heartwarming night.
