Spicy Honey Mustard Sauce with Rum

At my last Pulled Pork dish, I wanted something different. No classic bbq sauce but a delicious (spicy) honey mustard sauce with some rum as an extra.

Ingredients

  • 100 gr yellow mustard
  • 15 gr honey
  • 15 gr Apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp curry ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp brown rum
  • 1/2 Tsp fish sauce
  • 1/2 juice of orange
  • 1/2 juice of lime
  • 1 tsp Sriracha

Instructions

  • Take a saucepan and place on low heat. Then add the ingredients. Let the sauce warm gently for 5 minutes and stir well so that all flavours can mix well.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the sauce into a jar with a lid. You can easily keep this sauce in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
